Glow in the dark chalk

Oh, I was excited to use my glow in the dark chalk today. Mommy and Daddy went on a date night to a cooking class where the people did French wining and sparring, or something like that, while I stayed with Adrianna, my sitter, and played all sorts of games and had loads of fun. One thing that we did is we made glow in the dark chalk from a kit that Mommy bought for me. It was so much fun and was ready to use later today when Mommy and Daddy got home from their date.

Mommy, Daddy and I went out front and drew all sorts of neat pictures with the chalk. It really did glow in the dark and was so awesome. It really blew my mind.

Snakes

I learned a lot about snakes and am somewhat of an expert now. Did you know that snakes do not have butt cheeks? Its true. The boy snakes are called Daddy snakes and they do not have babies. Sometimes they are called males. Sometimes the mommies have eggs inside them and sometimes they don't. The daddy snake is called a grande snake and the mommy snakes are called pequeno snakes. The baby snakes are called pequenooooooo. Snakes have ears in their heads.

I told you I was an expert.

Bluebonnets 2012

As you know, here in Texas we have lots of wildflowers! Every spring the Texas Bluebonnets go crazy and my auntie takes pictures of me in the bluebonnets. Here are this year's pictures.

Remember... if you pick the bluebonnets the police will come and put you in the pokey.

Writing a Book

Well, I have lived many years, toured the globe and seen many things. It is now time that I write a book. So what does a girl write about who has seen what I have seen and knows what I know? Yes, you guessed it, I am writing a story about the sea and sea creatures. It is totally awesome and full of my own personal illustrations.

I am almost done with my first book and should finish up the last four pages tomorrow. I will share pictures of my new book when I am finished.

How to Train Your Dragon

Listen to this. I have been reading the 'How to Train Your Dragon' books before bedtime with Mommy and Daddy. Each night Mommy and Daddy take turns reading the story to me. They both say it is something that they look forward to each night all day long.We all snug up on either Mommy and Daddy's bed or my bed and read a chapter. Right now, we are on the third book 'How to Speak Dragonese'. I love Hiccup and I adore Toothless. He is so funny and cute.

Ameliaism: Cheetahs

Amelia: Daddy, I am faster than a cheetah.

Daddy: Wow, that is really fast!

Amelia: Did you know that a cheetah is the fastest animal?

Daddy: I know, isn't that neat? They can run at about 70 miles an hour.

Amelia: Cool!

Amelia: Daddy?

Daddy: Yes, sweetheart?

Amelia: Maybe cheetahs like to eat cheetos. I think they do.

Daddy: Maybe.

Princes and Princesses

Amelia: Alright, Emery, you can be the princess. Anderson, you can be the prince.

Anderson: Yeah!

Amelia: Emery, I will be a princess, too!

Daddy: Cool! Who can I be?

Amelia: Well, you can be one of the servants.

Another tooth?

Guess what? I lost another tooth!

Can you believe it? This new tooth that I lost was really loose already when I lost my first tooth. The tooth fairy is never going to believe it!

Daddy and Mommy tell me that I look even cuter.

St. Patricks Day

What an exciting St. Patrick's Day. Mommy, Daddy and I had a big day today. We had three St. Patrick's Day parties.

We got up, had breakfast and headed over with Auntie Aya, Uncle Eric, Emery and Anderson to join in a St. Patrick's day scavenger hunt party with our good friends the Scott's.

It was sooo much fun and so lovely. I'm serious. There were a bunch of other kids and there was this leprechaun that hid his treasure and left a bunch of clues for us to follow. We raced all over the ranch looking for clues.

Reading clues
Guess what? I found the treasure! There were a bunch of little gems inside a green bag and everyone got to have a gem. What fun!

I found the treasure

Getting a little case for my gem

Emery and Anderson getting their gem. They are soo cute.

After our fun with the Scott's, it was time to have more fun with my good friend, Pierce and his family. They were having a St. Patrick's Day party too at their house. They had all sorts of yummy food and an awesome trampoline in their backyard. I got to spend time playing with my good friends Sydney, Reagan and Pierce. So much fun!

The fun does not stop their. After our fun at Pierce's house, it was off to another St. Patrick's Day party at my friend Bella's party. What a blast. We had more great food and spent time with our good friends. Mommy and Daddy played this fun train game with the other adults while Bella and I played. I guess adults still play with toys too.

Pizza Shop

So my cousins Emery and Anderson shared with me a big secret... a restaurant where you can write on the walls with CHALK!! It's the best place EVER! If mom and dad ask me where I want to go to dinner, my only reply is CRAIG-O's!!! Here are some pictures of my latest Craig-O's Pizza masterpiece.

See the princess in the middle? That's mommy. She has really pretty hair.

See the girl next to the man with the crown? That's me...
And the man with the crown? That's my prince: Daddy.

So many princesses... so little chalk.

Hello there...

All the princesses were waiting to get on the bus.
Mom... can we PLEASE eat at CRAIG-O's again TOMORROW???
PLEASE????

Making cupcakes

Holy moly, Mommy, Daddy and I found the best invention ever when we were out shopping today. It is a machine called the Topping Tornado. It makes putting sprinkles on cupcakes so much fun that we had to buy it that minute and go home to make cupcakes.

Here is the Topping Tornado

When we got home, we immediately got to work. It was so much fun. Mommy and I made the cupcakes and then Mommy made a really delicious frosting for the cupcakes. Daddy and I worked on putting the sprinkles on the cupcakes. It was a lot of fun. We did a lot of experimenting with different sprinkles. One of our cupcakes "accidentally" tipped over inside and got chocolate on the Topping Tornado. Daddy let me help with the chocolate cleanup. Yum. :)

We sprinkled those a cupcakes in no time flat. Then Mommy, Daddy and I sat down to a delicious treat.

Then we all snuggled upstairs and read the next 'How to Train Your Dragon' story 'How to Be a Pirate'. We are really enjoying reading the story together.

Wait a minute -- I just realized that I never showed you what the cupcakes looked like after we decorated them. Silly Amelia. If you want to know how delicious they tasted you'll just have to stop by and enjoy one! That is, if Daddy hasn't eaten them all. Silly Daddy.

Yum!

Too big

Amelia: Daddy, did you know that if you were to lay on my bed, you would knock over all of the lovies?

Daddy: I think you are right, love bug.

Amelia: Yes, I think that you are too big for my bed.

Daddy: I think so.

Amelia: Yeah, nothing can pick you up.

Daddy: Nothing? I'll bet someone could pick me up.

Amelia: Well, you can pick anything up. You are sooo strong! Soo strong!

Daddy:  Anything? Well, I hope that I can always pick you up.

Amelia: Yeah, me too. That is the best.
