I Love my Daddy!

He's the best daddy out there!!

Here's what I gave him for Father's Day:

Daddy said he wanted to go for a bike ride and eat at the counter at Kerby Lane. So that's just what we did! It was great!! Then we went over to Auntie Aya's for a BBQ and then headed to the pool. It was really hot but we had an excellent time. Emery and Anderson were so much fun and Auntie Aya is letting me borrow Emery's life vest for the summer.

I love you daddy!!

Party at Bella's and Dr. Pepper Run

Well, I had an awesome time with my friend Bella and her family. Last night I got to spend the night and then today was Bella's birthday party. She had a great party at our pool. She invited a bunch of our friends from school! We had pizza and cake balls! I had two chocolate cake balls. I did not play mermaid jump. Mr. Mike was really nice and kept a good eye on me while I was in the pool. We all had a great time!

Meanwhile ...

Mommy and Daddy went to a place called Dublin, but it was not the place in Ireland. This city is in Texas and it is a place where they make the Dr. Pepper drink. I don't drink it, but I hear it is good. Anyway, Mommy and Daddy ran another ten K race, but not the Captain K. They finished the race and got these cool medals. Way to go Mommy and Daddy!

Mommy and Daddy took these pictures from their run today:

Blues on the Green

Last night was the first Blues on the Green show in Zilker Park. It was awesome! Sydney and her mommy and daddy joined us. There were lots and lots of people and so many dogs I couldn't count so high. Bob Schneider played and he was great! I brought three friends: Chloe (my lovey black kitty) and two barbies.

Mommy took some pictures of the night. Daddy was so good to let Sydney and I ride him around. He was a very good horsey!

What a good looking bunch!!

The same bunch looking oh so silly!

What cutie pies!!

The crowd was huge!!

I know Bob's up there somewhere because I could hear him singing,
"all right, let your hair down. let your heart pound. let the light in."

Blues on the Green!

It is finally here! I have been waiting for Blues on the Green all year long! Tomorrow I am going to rock and roll to live music down at Town Lake. I might even get to see Sydney! I am so excited that I don't know if I am going to be able to sleep.

Mommy and Daddy say that someone named Bob Schneider is going to be there performing tomorrow. This is going to be awesome!!!!

Snakes!

Our neighbor friends found a dangerous snake in their back yard. It is called a Coral snake. Mommy and Daddy showed me a picture just like this one.

They told me about it and that if I should see a colorful snake like this one that I should stop, let the snake slither away and then walk in the opposite direction. Whew. It was kind of scary. But I know that Mommy, Daddy, Chloe and Sunny will be safe now that I know what they look like and what to do.

Date Night for Daddy and Me

Mommy was having a party last night, so Daddy and I decided to have a date night. We decided to rent a movie that I really wanted to see called "How to Train Your Dragon". Daddy went and bought dinner for us and we watched our movie and ate dinner in Mommy and Daddy's bedroom. Daddy brought me a surprise chocolate cookie for dessert after dinner.

We loved the movie. I laughed so hard at the dragons and was not scared at all. I am so excited to tell all of my friends at school about the movie that I saw.

I love Apple Cinnamon Toasted Oats

I have been eating cereal for breakfast this week. I love this type of cereal mommy picked up from the grocery store. It is so good and great for making animal shapes. This morning, I took two of the Os from my cereal and made a butterfly. I made her fly above the table. Butterflies are so nice. You know, they don't bite. Neither do ladybugs. Chloe doesn't either. She helped me put my clothes on for school this morning. She sat in the sun near the back door of our house and helped me choose my outfit.
