Santa!

Last night we went to visit Santa. It was really awesome! Except when I got up there to tell him what I wanted for Christmas I totally forgot what I wanted!! I told Mommy we were going to need to send him a letter because I didn't tell him! I must do that tonight!! I must I must I must!!

Now what did I want again? Oh yes:

- a watch like mommy's
- teddy bear
- teddy dinosaur

Isn't my dress pretty? ... thank's Nami!!

Mommy... it's almost my turn!

He was very excited to meet me.
Mabel must have told him some great things about me.
We talked important business. He told me all about living at the north pole!

But I was so excited I forgot the real reason for the visit!

Luminations at the Wildflower Center

Last weekend I went to the Wildflower Center with Auntie Aya, Emery, Anderson, Mommy and Daddy to see the beautiful luminaria. Mommy said there were 3,000 of them. I believe her because they were everywhere... and totally beautiful! We had such a fun time. There was music, ornament stations, and yummy food. We even got our faces painted! Emery got a snowman painted on her face, Anderson a Christmas tree, and I got Rudolph. He's the most famous reindeer of all you know.

Here are the Luminarias. They were so pretty!

And a few other pictures from the night. I can't wait to go back next year!!

Oh Mabel...

The trouble you get into.

Other days here's how I found her:

Snoozing in her own little house she made

Eating ice cream in the freezer

eating candy...and looking pretty sick.

Mabel is Very Mischievous!

My elf is a little crazy... just like Daddy. It seems like she is constantly getting into a little trouble. She sure seems to be having a lot of fun when I am not home! I've included below some of her adventures.

Here we are watching the Elf movie. She was really interested!!

On Saturday I went to the grocery store with Daddy and Mommy. When we got home, we found Mabel doing Dance Dance Revolution Disney on our Wii. It looked like she had been doing it for a while because her score was really high! She must use her magic to hit all of the pads with such little feet.

That evening, we went to the airport to pick up Nami. She is here for the week to play with me. When we got home, we found Mabel on the kitchen counter making snow angels. Well... they weren't actually snow angels. They were flour angels. What a nut.

When I went to bed I put Mabel on our dining room table, but when I woke up I found her in the living room in her own sleigh. She had picked up Santa and all of the little reindeer we have around the house. They looked like they were ready for a trip! I wonder if they were flying around the house.

Oh hey... do you know who is the most famous reindeer of all?? Rudolph that's who. I know I'm right. There's that song that tells me so. I'm serious.

We also found Mabel hiding in my stocking...

Sunday night I decided to leave all my toys down in the living room and told mommy that I thought Mabel would clean them up for me while I was sleeping. Well... When I got up in the morning, I found Mabel sitting on my toys covering her eyes. I think she was disappointed that I didn't clean up my own toys. I really hope she didn't go back and tell Santa. Just to make sure I cleaned up the toys really fast and have been really good keeping everything really clean!!

After school on Monday I came home to find Mabel hanging from our celing fan!! She was slowly spinning. I bet it was so much fun, but I think she got very dizzy! She must have flown up there!

Another morning wearing antlers. Silly Mabel!

Finally, yesterday we came home to find that Mabel had set up my blocks and was having a snow ball fight with my lovies. It looked like so much fun. I ended up getting out all the blocks and made a big castle for me and my lovies to hide in!! What fun!

You can kind of see her arm over there. My lovies look scared!!

What on earth will she do tomorrow? Only time will tell!

Holiday House Guest!!

Guess what? A REAL elf from the North Pole has decided to live with us until Christmas! Can you believe it?? I know... it is pretty awesome! Her name is Sparkly Mabel. According to Santa, she's only 96 years old and is quite a mischief maker! While we were downtown last night Mabel decided to take some of the ornaments off of our Christmas Tree and make her own little tree on the living room floor. Here's how we found her:

Mabel and I... chillin'

See the Christmas Tree? She's CRAZY!!

But such a pretty girl!

Then I had to go to bed. While I'm sleeping Mabel heads up to the North Pole to chat with Santa and get some elf work done. This morning I came down stairs and here's how I found her:

Oh hey look... Jesus is watching over her too!

What a nut!

I wonder what she is going to do tomorrow???

Tree Lighting at the Driskill Hotel

Last night Mommy, Daddy and I went to this big old hotel downtown for their tree lighting ceremony. It was so much fun. There were lots of people singing, yummy food, a big gingerbread house, and it even snowed! I tried to catch some of the snow and throw it at daddy but it was too small! I really hope we go next year too!

These pretty ladies were singing songs to wish us a Merry Christmas!

Another COW?? They are everywhere!!

The tree is lit!

After they lit the tree they brought out this beautiful cake!! It was awesome!!

It had fireworks on it!

Check out this HUGE gingerbread house!
I wonder how much frosting it took to put it together?

It was huge. I'm serious.

Here we are standing in front of the tree. So fun!
