The truth about dinosaurs

Tonight I explained what I know about dinosaurs to Daddy.

"Daddy, there are two kinds of dinosaurs. One that makes volcanoes with their mouths and one that makes volcanoes with their hands. The ones that eat plants make volcanoes with their hands and their mouths. The ones that eat meat attack dinosaurs but don't make volcanoes. The ones with horns eat grass."

I asked Daddy to draw these pictures for me.

I always knew....

I was a princess. And here's proof.

Sitting in my castle waiting for my prince.

Thanks Grandma & Grandpa Coleman

Grandma and Grandpa Coleman went on a trip to Hawaii last week and sent me a present from the aloha state! They sent me a beautiful dress (photos to come) and a cool book about slippers. Here's me on the phone with Grandma Coleman! Hi Grandma!! Love you!

Today, I am a Hippy Girl!

Mommy said that today I look like her when she was a little girl. She said I look like a hippy girl. So fun!

Clifford the Big Grey Dog

I really like going over to the dog park to see all the puppies playing in the water and running around together like maniacs. Tonight, as we were leaving the park, this huge dog came over to us. I mean, he was a really big dog. I turned to daddy and said, "daddy, that dog is almost as big as Clifford." He really was.

Lilli Nanna-Nanna told me later that when she grows up she wants to be just as big as that dog. I don't think Corgis get that big, but I'm not going to tell her. I bet Emily Elizabeth never thought little red dogs got as big as Clifford and look at how big he grew!

Nighttime Jokester

Daddy put me to bed tonight. After he read Knuffle Bunny to Mommy and I, he tucked me into bed. Daddy asked for a hug and a kiss from me before turning out the lights. I nodded yes, looked tenderly into his eyes, held the sides of his face and gently blew a giant raspberry on his cheek. Ha ha! He never saw it coming.

Picnic in Zilker Park

What a beautiful family!
As you know, a few nights a week daddy, mommy, and I go down to town lake for a picnic. Well.... tonight we were so lucky that we met up with this crazy bunch of people.

We had a great time! It was such great luck to have gotten to eat dinner with them in the park.

Oh Emery... you are so funny!

Anderson and I decided to race... ready, set, go!
Just kidding!! haha!
What a pretty girl!
Ahh... my husband.
It's a bird, it's a plane... no wait it's me flying high on mommy!

This is awesome! I can see Russia from up here!

Weeee......

And finally... here I am with my beautiful auntie Aya.

Painted Fingernails

At school today I painted my fingernails... with a highlighter. It was hot pink and my fingers, hands, legs, and arms, look AWESOME! I think it's going to last a long time because my mommy, daddy, and teachers couldn't get the color off. It's nothing like that quick drying nail polish mommy usually lets me wear. That stuff dries quickly but also wears off fast! Next time I'm going to try blue!

First Day of Pre-Kindergarten!!

Today was my first day of pre-kindergarten. It was great! All my friends looked so pretty and handsome in their uniforms. Mommy and daddy both brought me to school. They took lots of pictures and were really silly about the whole thing. Mommy kept saying that she couldn't believe what a big girl I am. Duh... of course I'm a big girl. I'm almost four!
School girl in knee socks. They ROCK!

Family Self Portrait

Me and... you guessed it... my husband!
Mommy and I
Tea and I had the same dress on! How did that happen?
Don't we all look pretty!
Here I am with Tea, Sydney and Reagan.
Here's my new classroom!

Morning Hike

Here are some pictures from our hike.

Let's go! I know the way!!

This looks like a good route!

My beautiful mamma!

I think daddy's hot!
Daddy... are we lost?

You want me to walk across what?

Ok, that wasn't too bad and look... there's the trail!

Ahh... shade, a nice bench, and a beautiful view!

Hey mom... can we go swimming...
in the lake?
What? I'd be swimming with crawdads, fish, and frogs?
I'll stick to the pool. I'm a city girl you know!

Ranch Animals

There were lots of animals that we saw out at the ranch. In addition to lots of deer we saw turkeys, lizards, big birds, crawdads, frogs, and lots of fish. It was really cool. Here are a few pictures.

This big guy was outside the front door. His tail was really long.

Aww.... what a cute little guy.

This little guy we caught running across the living room floor. He was tiny! His whole body was smaller than my little finger. Mommy had to get really close to him to get his picture.

What is he standing on? He's HUGE!

Mommy said it was a heron.

And last but not least... the most wild beasts of the weekend...

Gurr.... Lilli Nanna-Nanna, Wiena, and Ellie!

Mini Vacation

Out at RGK for the weekend with my peeps. For those who are wondering, that's my husband, mommy, and the puppies Wiena (the wiener dog), Ellie (the brown lab), and Lilli Nanna-Nanna (the corgi formerly known as Sandy).  We've been having a great time. My hands look like raisins and my hair is a crazy mess from being in the pool. This morning daddy made mommy and I breakfast. We ate it out on the deck. It sure was good. Then we went for a big hike around RGK. I rode on daddy's shoulders for much of the hike. It was HOT but great fun. Mommy took a bunch of pictures, but said we will have to wait until we get home to post them.

I think we might be going to find Mexican food for dinner tonight. Mommy said that tomorrow we are all going to Schlitterbaun with Auntie Aya, Uncle Eric, and Auntie Jessica. I'm not sure what it is, but mommy said I should love it. She also said that I will really look like a raisin after we go. My bet is that it's a big swimming pool. I hope there are lots of floaties.

Mommy's calling saying that we are heading to dinner so I've got to go. I'll post more later.

RGK is really awesome and I'm having a great time... but where are Cole and Callum?

Last Blues on the Green for the Summer

Tonight was the last Blues on the Green series for the summer. Mommy said the singer was named Raul Malo. He was awesome! Mommy and I really liked dancing to the music.

Daddy and I liked making silly faces.

Mommy and I liked making silly faces too.

Daddy and I dancing with the puppies.

Here are Sandy and Bo taking a break from all the dancing (along with the caterpillar).

Ahh... me and my husband.

It was a very special night... I didn't want to go home OR go to bed when we got home. I wanted to party all night long!

Ok, I'm off to bed. Sleep well, remember to listen to your mommies, and keep your puppies close to you so they won't be lonely.
