Family Dinner

I had a great dinner with Mommy, Daddy, Auntie Aya, Emery and Anderson. We all had Indian food. It was deeeelicious! Then we walked over to Babies R' Us so Auntie Aya could buy some things. I got to hold Emery and Anderson's hands as we walked over to the store. I am the big kid you know and need to watch out for them.

Then Mommy, Daddy and I went over to Barnes and Noble and I got to get a new Tiana book. I cannot wait to read it!

Fun with friends

I had an awesome time with my friend Sydney tonight at Phil's Ice House. We had really great food and got to play on the awesome play ground. I love Austin!

Ahh... Paris Pastries

When we were in Paris we went to the best cookie (biscuit) shop EVER! Cure Gourmande gave out free samples and I had like 10. Mommy and Daddy had some too. My favorite were the ones filled with chocolate but the ones with fig were good too. It was so pretty inside it was like being in a doll house.

Double Decker Bus

We took double decker buses all over London. Our favorite was the Number 15. It took us from our hotel to the Tower of London and then in the other direction to Trafalgar Square. Here's a photo of my favorite bus:

And here's the view from my favorite spot on the bus.

And here's my favorite princess I saw in London...

No wait, that's Rapunzel and Eugene... Silly Amelia!

Hanging with Mommy in London

Our first real day in London was Tuesday. We started out our day with an early lunch with daddy and at a local cafe and then off we went to the Tower of London.

Then we were off to the Tower of London. Mommy and Daddy said that I probably wouldn't get to see any princesses while we were in London but they were WRONG! While we were inside the castle, Mommy and I walked into a room that smelled really yummy and there were REAL PRINCESSES! In the room was Queen Margaret and Princess Mary!! I was so excited that I shimmied and did a little dance! I even got to talk to them. They told me all about their life in the castle and I told them all about my favorite princess Rapunzel.

Afterwards Mommy bought me a crown just like Queen Margaret's.

Then we went and saw the Crown and Jewels. They were beautiful!!!

That's the day.

Me and My Momma at Windsor Castle

At this point in the trip we hadn't seen any princesses... except us of course!

Me and My Husband

Here's a quick photo of me and my husband in Paris.

We're sitting in the Jardin des Tuileries. It was one of my favorite spots in Paris. Mommy, Daddy and I just had two yummy crepes for breakfast (chocolate and banana, and strawberry), and were sitting enjoying the people and some hot chocolate. Yum!

Then we walked towards this really big museum (The Louvre). Mommy bought a new hat. She loved it so much that she wore it for the rest of the trip.

I was really sad because we looked and looked and never found Madeline's house. But we did see lots of other great stuff and ate the best cotton candy EVER!

More soon...

Happy Gram - Great Day

I had a really great day today! My teachers gave me a Happy Gram for being a good girl. Here it is:

Amelia had a great day today. She
has been doing a good job in class
also. She is always willing to help
clean the book center and help pick
up around the room! She is a good
friend and will help out those who
need it. Good Job Amelia!

Mommy, Daddy and I went to Auntie Aya and Uncle Eric's house for dinner. We got to tell them all about our trip to Paris and London and I got to see Emery and Anderson and give them presents. We gave them each a red, double-decker bus. I brought my yellow school bus to show them the difference. Auntie Aya made Aunt Martha's for dinner. It was great!

Show and tell and piano lessons

What an awesome day at school! I got to tell everyone about my trip to London and Paris at show and tell. Mommy and Daddy gave me pictures of the places that we went and money from England and France to bring to school to show the other children. I especially liked telling everyone about Queen doll house. No one believed me when I told me how big it was. Here is an old picture of it being put together:

I also brought shortbread cookies to share with the class. We had a great time!

I also had a piano lesson today. A teacher visited our school and taught us about how to place our fingers on the piano keys and even drew numbers on our fingers to help us put them on the right keys. I had so much fun and I would love to take piano lessons. Mommy and Daddy are going to see about me taking more lessons.

What a great day!

Travel in Europe!

Wow! I have just returned from an awesome adventure with Mommy and Daddy to Europe! Mommy, Daddy and I went to a country called France and another country called England. Daddy was going to a city in England called London to work for his company, but we decided to make a little vacation out of it. I have so much to share with all of you, but it is getting close to my bed time, so I will share a little with you tonight and then share more over the next couple of days.

After flying on a huge plane across the ocean, I think Mommy and Daddy said it was the Atlantic ocean, we landed in London, England on Saturday. I was so excited to finally meet real live princesses, princes, Queens and Kings there. But first, we dropped off our luggage at the the hotel that we would be staying at in London, England and took a very big, very fast magical train that can go under water to Paris, France. It was so awesome! I was really tired and took a nap for part of the journey. Mommy and Daddy said that Jessie had a great time exploring our train car.

When we got to Paris, we went to our hotel, dropped off our luggage and went out to tour the city and get a bite to eat for dinner.

What a beautiful city. One thing that I noticed was that people were talking differently in this country. Mommy and Daddy said that the people in Paris speak a different language called French. They taught me how to say something in French. "Je m'appelle Amelia". That means, "my name is Amelia." How cool.

We wanted to see the Eiffel Tower. Auntie Aya and Uncle Eric got me a statue of it when they were in Paris a few weeks ago and we had to see it in real life. Daddy put me on his shoulders and took he took this picture of the Eiffel Tower.

Moments later, the whole Tower began to sparkle all over. It was really magical. Mommy and Daddy bought me this really cool spinning top that you can launch into the air that lights up and spins as it falls to the ground. I actually got to touch a little bit of the Tower!

We walked around for a while and found this really good restaurant. I tried this really good stuff for the first time called foie gras. It was delicious! After dinner, Mommy, Daddy and I went and bought some goodies at a grocery store and went back to our hotel where I had a quick bath and went to bed.

I have so much more to tell you about that night and our trip, but I am so tired from traveling and I can barely keep my eyes open.

Jessie on vacation

This morning, I asked Daddy to take Jessie to work with him so that she could go on vacation and keep Daddy company while he is away. Daddy has been keeping us updated with all of the things that Jessie is doing while she is away.

Great Day!

What a great day we had today!

Mommy, Daddy and I woke up early, had breakfast, and went to go see the movie "Tangled". I love that movie so much.

Then we drove to Town Lake and Mommy and Daddy pushed me in the stroller while they ran around the lake. We saw seven swans and I tried these new yogurt treats.

Then we went grocery shopping and later met up for Chinese dinner with my friend, Sydney Devereaux and her mommy, Brooke, and her daddy, Shawn. We had a really great time with them!

Then I went with Mommy and Daddy shopping at Target. Mommy and I found our shoes for our trip to London. Awesome! I also got to visit friends of Nice Brush and found new friends named Nice Clips!

Then we came home and I played for a little while before finally going to bed after a nice bath and a story.

What a day!
