Wiiiiiiiiiiiiii

My school got a Wii for us to play with and I got to play it today! What fun! My teacher says that because it has been so hot, we have not been able to go outside to get our exercise, so the school bought a Wii to make sure we were able to continue to get exercise. Being the professional Wii bowler in my house, I was able to show all my friends how to play Wii Bowling on the Wii.

Later, I played a dancing game on the Wii and got my groove on. How fun!!!

New Haircut!!

A few weeks back Mommy got her hair cut nice and short. She really likes it. On Sunday it was my turn to get my hair trimmed and I told Mommy and Daddy that I wanted it short like Mommy's. When we got to the hair salon Mommy told the lady to cut it a little longer than hers. I said, "no... just like Mommy's." After the lady cut my hair I saw it and decided it was still too long so I had her cut it shorter. It sure does look pretty, but I think it is still too long. Next time I'll tell the lady to do it exactly like Mommy's hair!

Cowgirl Dress-up Day!

Today was cowgirl dress-up day at school. I thought you'd enjoy some photos of me in my hat and boots!! We're also going to Cici's Pizza on a field trip! We get to make our own pizza! I'll report more on that later!

Back at school and ice cream social

Well, I am feeling much better today and I went back to school. Yay! It was really nice to see my school friends today. Everyone was really glad to see me back at school. My friends greeted me with hugs when I came in the door to my class.

Well, we had a great event today. It was called an ice cream social. I don't know why it was called an ice cream social. All we did was sit and eat ice cream, but we did not talk. Don't tell mommy, but I had vanilla ice cream. She doesn't like vanilla. She likes chocolate. And I tell her I like it the best but vanilla is great too! I covered it with sprinkles and I also put a vanilla wafer inside. It was delicious! Tomorrow is splash day!

Feeling sick :(

I stayed home from school today. I have a bad cough. Mommy took me to the doctor today and they said I was sick. I am taking anti-robotics to help me feel better. I am making sure that I am getting lots of rest. I took time to relax today to write a chapter book and decorate my playroom. Mommy stayed home from work today and made me feel really good. She always knows what makes me feel good.

I will probably stay home again tomorrow. Night, night. :)

Strange noises in my bed

Amelia: Good night, Daddy.
Daddy: Good night, Amelia. I love you, sweetheart.
Amelia: I love you, Daddy. Hugs.

Daddy: Hmm, what was that noise?
 Amelia: I think it was you.
Daddy: Really? Are you sure?
Amelia: Alright. It was Chloe.
Daddy: Uh, huh. Chloe. Right. Good night, sweetheart.
Amelia: Good night, Daddy.

Staying home and bike ride tonight!

Today I stayed home from school. I had a little bit of a cold and felt a little run down so Mommy and Daddy said it was alright if I stayed home from school today.

I watched some really good movies today while Daddy worked. He said that I was a really good girl today. I saw 'Monster's Inc.' for the first time today. I don't know what I was afraid about. That movie was hilarious. I laughed so hard.

Then later this evening, Mommy, Daddy and I went for a bike ride and had dinner at Torchy's Tacos. It was a little hot at first, but it got really nice as we started to ride. I had my favorite dish at Torchy's: a quesadilla with sour cream and a side of mangos. Muy Bueno!!

We all had a great time!

Oh yes... did I ever tell you how much my mommy likes beans? She LOVES them. She said last night that her favorite thing at Torchy's is their beans. I like them too but she is so silly about them. She's even got a song. I bet you know it. She and I sing it together and just laugh and laugh.

Is there a Corgi in my Future?

Play day!

I had a wonderful day today with my friend, Bella. I missed her so much!

This morning, Bella and her mommy came and picked me up from my house and we spent the entire day together. We went to the pool and I got to wear my new life vest. It works great! We had lunch and I played at Bella's house.

When Daddy came to pick me up, I did not want to leave. We will have to do that again real soon! I love that girl!

It was a great summer vacation!!

Out on the Water

I think I told you that Uncle Joel has a speed boat. It's AWESOME!! I loved going fast fast fast! After going fast across the lake, we stopped and were able to play in the water! It was so much fun!! I liked to do mermaid jumps off the back of the boat and then swim between Mommy, Daddy, Allison and Uncle Joel. Mommy and Auntie Sammy liked lounging on little boats. What fun!!

Amazing Allison

My cousin Allison is AWESOME!! She is so much fun, pretty, and nice. I want to be like her when I grow up. I got to spend lots of great fun with her while I was on vacation. She helped me catch lightening bugs, we went to a store and painted pottery together, picked blueberries, and played at the pool.

One of the things that she does that I think is totally awesome is that she is on the LSL water ski team! She is on two different teams: the swivel team and the ballet team. She looks so amazing out there on the water. We got to go to her show. It was awesome!! Along with her acts there were lots of other people water skiing. Daddy tried to water ski too but he wasn't able to get up. It didn't look easy, but I hope Allison teaches me the next time I visit St. Louis.

A Few Pictures from My Trip to St. Louis

As you might know, I got to go to St. Louis to visit Nami, Poppie, Auntie Sammy, Uncle Joel, and Allison for my summer vacation. It was the best summer vacation ever! I got to go swimming a lot, go on Uncle Joel's new boat, swim in the lake, pick blueberries, and watch fireworks on the 4th of July. While I don't have all my photos from the trip put together yet, here are some that Nami took for me. I'll post more soon!!

Back to school and on my bike!

Today I went back to school after my awesome Missouri vacation! Guess what? Today was splash day! I got to go to school in my new swim suit and play in the water! It was so fun. I got to see all my school friends. I missed them a lot and they said that they really missed me.

After I came home from school and after dinner, I rode up and down our block on my bicycle. I am getting so good at peddling. Daddy, Mommy and I raced back and forth. I beat them both five times. That's because I rock! Guess what else, we saw Uncle Eric on his bike too. He looks really good on his bike. I think I will race him some time.
