Soooo early

My Daddy is a lunatic!

Last night I needed to take a shower, but I was so tired that I could not keep my eyes open. Daddy said that I could take a quick shower and then go to bed or get up early the next morning and take a shower before my breakfast and going to school. I decided to go to bed early. A princess must get her beauty sleep.

This morning my alarm clock went off and Daddy was already awake! He's crazy! Does he ever sleep! It was still dark out and Daddy had the bathroom all ready to go. I had a hard time opening my eyes, so Daddy sat with me in my bedroom while I got used to the light. He's must at least be an alien. How was he already able to see? I think that he might be related to Chloe because she was already up to and I know that she can see in the dark. Who else is rummaging through my lovies while I sleep?

Well, I did take my shower. I was surprised how awake I was already. I was ready in time for Mommy to take me to school. What a treat! What a morning!

First Day of Kindergarten!

Today was my first day of kindergarten. I was so excited!! Mommy and daddy helped me get ready and then they both brought me to school. I brought both of my poodles with me as loveys but in my new class we don't have nap time. We have quiet time instead. I also got a new backpack and got to meet lots of new friends. I think this year is going to be awesome!

Field Trip!

Yeah! I went on awesome field trip today! I rode the school bus with my classmates to my old school and saw my friends today. It was so great seeing everyone.

We played games and I got an award. It was so great seeing my friends. Shhh. Don't tell Mommy and Daddy, but I did not have my nap today. I'm sure they will not notice.

Blues on the Green!

I had such a great time at Blues on the Green tonight! Guess what else? My friend Sydney was there too! Mommy, Daddy and I went for a nice walk before the concert and then we setup for a nice picnic dinner and listened to the wonderful music. We had such a great time!

Tonight was the last Blues on the Green concert for the year until next year. I can't wait to go again next year! Next year my cousins Emery and Anderson will be a year older and I can't wait to go with them too!

Almost time for kindergarten!

I am so excited for kindergarten!

I learned that I need to start getting up earlier in order to be on time for school. Mommy and Daddy thought that it would be a great idea if I start getting used to my earlier this week. I now have a big girl alarm clock in my bedroom! It plays a CD when it is time for me to get up in the morning and I got to choose the song that wakes me up. I thought "Hakuna Matata" would be a great song to get me going. Don't you?

Happy Gram!

I did very well on my first day back to school. I got a Happy Gram from my teachers. This is what it said:

Amelia had a fantastic time during or morning rotations. She did an excellent job of telling us which tower of connecting cubes was larger and which tower was smaller. Amelia was also able to spell her first name and recognized it three times. Keep up the great work, Amelia!

In the future I am going to go to the same college as Mommy and Daddy. We stopped by their old school and took a few pictures with Peter the Anteater! He's so cute! Mommy couldn't help but give him a kiss!

Trip to California! Part II - Emma's Bathtism

On Sunday Emma was bathtised at Grandma and Grandpa's church. Daddy and Mommy were asked to be Emma's Godparents. They are Anderson's Godparents too. Auntie Aya and Uncle Eric are my Godparents. Here are some pictures from the bathtism. Mommy said it was a b-a-p-t-i-s-m but I think she's wrong. The father poured water on Emma's head from a big bath tub, so it's a bathtism. Silly Mommy.

Trip to California! Part I - The Farmer's Market and the Shake Shack

Mommy, Daddy and I went on a trip to California this weekend to visit Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie D'Andra, Uncle Jared and to meet my new cousin Emma!! It was so much fun!! We also got to see Auntie Miryha and visit the ocean. I don't have any pictures of me with the new baby, Emma. I was a little sick so Mommy said I wasn't supposed to get too close to the baby. Grandma gave me a few new books and a Minnie Mouse dress. She's the best!!

First we flew from Austin to Phoenix and then we flew to Long Beach. It was super!!

Hi Mommy!!

Since I was so cute, we got a lift to the front of the airport.

Our driver (on the left) was Gabe. He was really nice and a good driver!

She said it was AWESOME!!

After we picked up our rental car we drove down to where Mommy and Daddy went to college and met up with Auntie Miryha at the farmers market. It was so wonderful. There were lots and lots of people and all the stores had free samples! I had so many pieces of peaches, grapes, plums, pears, and oranges that I was all sticky! Mommy took a picture of a tomato that was almost as big as my head. She said it was the biggest tomato she'd ever seen!

Then we went down to the coast and went to the Shake Shack to enjoy the view and share the best Strawberry shake I've ever eaten!! YUMMMAAARAAAMAMA!!!

It was a great day! Then we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's house to meet the new baby! Yippee!!! Now I have 5 cousins: Addison, Allison, Anderson, Emery, and Emma! Hey... two of their names start with an E and three start with an A! My name starts with an A too!! If I change my name to Emelia I'd be just like Emma and Emery! Hmm.... I'm going to talk to Mommy.
